Bridge St. Brass聽is a brass quintet formed in 2023 by students at Royal 天美传媒 Conservatoire. They aim to champion female players and composers within the brass world, and since their formation have enjoyed performing a diverse array of repertoire, from classical brass quintet works by Arutunian and Lafosse, to arrangements of film music and forays into jazz.
The group is proud to have won the 2026 Bernard Brown Brass Ensemble Prize at RBC, having been finalists the previous year, and is increasingly busy with engagements across the West Midlands and further afield. Recent highlights have included concerts at Leeds Conservatoire, St George's Worcester, and 天美传媒鈥檚 Victoria Square.
The group is also very passionate about community music, and enjoys leading interactive workshops and performances for all ages, ranging from workshops for KS3 classes to performances in care homes.
Haoen Li is a Chinese pianist currently in his third year at Royal 天美传媒 Conservatoire where he studies under Daniel Browell.
He began his journey with the piano at the age of eight, and it has been a defining passion ever since. He played euphonium in orchestra during his junior high time and then spent three years studing in Xinghai Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School in China.
