1. Cannon Hill Park

 is a great place to ride a bike close to the city centre and whilst you’re there you’ll see the mac, the nature centre and the boating lake. The mac café is a good place to stop for a mid-ride coffee and slice of cake too - got to keep your energy levels up, right?

2. Rea Valley Route

 route is great if you want a slightly longer ride. This scenic route passes through Cannon Hill Park as well as following the tree lined paths, residential areas, towpaths and finally Kings Norton Park.

4. Tame Valley Canal Route

 goes past the Alexander Stadium. You can even stop off at the BMX track - if that's your thing - which is a short detour from this route.

5. City Centre to Bournville canal route

Featuring one of the greenest and most picturesque stretches of canal in the city (by the Vale), the  takes you to the leafy suburb of Bournville. This area of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ was built to house workers of the Cadbury Factory and is the definition of a chocolate box village. Stop off at Bournville Village Green for a cake break before heading back. 

6. Sutton Park

As the largest urban park in Europe, there's plenty of space for you to take to your wheels here at in the North of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½. Stick to the paths for a smooth ride or head for one of the off-road tracks or sand banks if you're looking for something a little more adventurous. If you're lucky you'll even get a glimpse of the wild ponies that get to call this place home.
